Nusret İbrahim Yurtsever

Nusret İbrahim Yurtsever completed his undergraduate and graduate studies in Art Teaching (2015–2019) and Art and Design (2019–2021) at Kastamonu University. He is currently working on his doctoral dissertation titled “The Aesthetic Transformation of Contemporary Art in the Context of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Art.”

Blending traditional and digital methods in his art, the artist incorporates augmented reality (AR) into his airbrush-on-canvas works, offering viewers a dynamic and updatable experience. Using the harmonious chaos of color and form, he appeals to the viewer’s sensory perception and resonates with Arthur Schopenhauer’s understanding of aesthetics. Inspired by childhood memories and his fascination with the aesthetic appeal of balloons, he creates balloon-themed works.

Balloons symbolize the transience of human life and the fragility of memories, while their bright colors and organic forms transport the viewer to childhood moments and provide a pure aesthetic experience. Guided by Schopenhauer’s aesthetic philosophy, the artist aims to help viewers transcend the anxieties of everyday life and reach a sense of universal awareness, inviting them on an inner journey by elevating aesthetic pleasure through his works.
